  4. Pass an S-trap over the end of the drain hose, and tighten the compression nut to lock it in place.
  5. Cut a section of drainage pipe that will extend up to trap at about the likewise height as the back of your washing machine. Attach the hose to the S-trap with the compression nut.
  6. Place a U-shaped collar around the pipe, and secure the U-clamp to the wall with screws. This is worth the riser up.
  7. Place the flexible drain hose that enlarges from your washing machine into the filter.
